Golden Arrows are believed to be looking to complete a deal for one of
Mamelodi Sundowns’ defenders in the upcoming January transfer window
period.
It was previously reported on the Soccer Laduma website that Arrows, Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United were assessing the situation of out-of-favour Siyanda Zwane.
The 32-year-old right back is yet to make a single competitive appearance for the Brazilians in the current 2017/18 campaign, with Sundowns previously revealing that the defender has been nursing an injury to his toe.
Although, it seems that Zwane has become surplus to requirements, as Thapelo Morena and Anele Ncgongca are currently ahead of the player on the pecking order.
Siya sources have revealed that Arrows are looking to close in on their attempts at luring the player back to the KwaZulu-Natal-based club.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Sundowns will look to offload the player in the upcoming January transfer window period or if Zwane will see a change of fortunes in his game-time when he returns to full fitness.
As things stand, a move to both Pirates and SuperSport can’t be ruled out until the player commits to his future, although it seems that Arrows could be Zwane’s next destination.
