Roger de Sa is continuing his search for a central defender by bringing in Zimbabwean international, Erick Chipeta, with the player having been spotted training with the club.
Chipeta is currently a free agent after leaving Ajax Cape Town at the
end of August and is looking for a new club in order to get his career
back on track.
It was De Sa who signed Chipeta for Ajax last year at the start of the
2016/17 Absa Premiership campaign, with the Urban Warriors snapping him
up from Chippa United.
He went on to play just 13 games for the club before leaving in August,
and it appears that De Sa is eager to see if he can help shore up the
Dikwena defence as they look to fend off relegation this season.
The defender played six all games in the COSAFA Cup earlier this year
as Zimbabwe lifted the trophy, but at this point, it remains to be seen
whether he will be offered a contract at the club or not.
