Orlando Pirates have been boosted by the return to fitness of Thamsanqa Sangweni, ahead of their two games this week, against Platinum Stars and Kaizer Chiefs respectively.
Bucs will resume their Absa Premiership campaign this week with a game against Dikwena on Wednesday and visit Chiefs for the first Soweto Derby of the season. Both games take place at the FNB stadium.
News from the Pirates camp is that Sangweni is working on his return to Milutin Sredojevic’s team. The midfielder has been out of Sredojevic’s 18-man matchday squads at Bucs since picking up an injury during the first game of the season against Chippa United.
However, the central midfielder has since recovered from the knee injury he struggled with and has been working on regaining full fitness in training and in friendly games.
