Leonardo Castro could be seeing out the final months of his contract at Mamelodi Sundowns, with Siya sources indicating that the Colombian and Head Coach Pitso Mosimane are not seeing eye to eye.
The striker was offered a new and improved deal with the Brazilians some time back, however, the player has since been heavily linked with an exit from the Chloorkop-based club.
The 28-year-old’s contract is set to come to an end next year, June 30, which means that the player will be free to agree to a pre-contract with any interested suitor from January next year.
Siya sources have indicated that the Colombian’s exit from Masandawana seems more and more likely at this point, with the source also suggesting that Castro and Mosimane are no longer seeing eye to eye and an exit from Sundowns could be the most likely outcome at this point.
Castro has recently been linked with the likes of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates and it remains to be seen where the player’s next destination will be, should he move on from the Brazilians in the near future.
