Jacob Sakala is back in football, at a club in the ABC Motsepe League, where he has been appointed as head coach.
The previous coaching stint for the experienced Zambian mentor was during his time with Baroka FC in the PSL last season.
The 63-year-old parted ways with the Limpopo outfit in April. He has since resurfaced at Alexandra Black Aces in Mzansi’s third tier.
His first task is overseeing today’s match for Aces against Dondol Stars at the Pretoria West TUT Campus.
“Newly appointed coach Jacob Sakala will want to bring about an immediate improvement in the Gold City Giants - and today he travels to play Dondol Stars FC whom Aces beat twice last season,” Aces confirmed on their official website.
Aces were previously under the tutelage of Ashwin Sutton, who was being assisted by Edward Williams.
