The South African Football Association are currently in talks with German automobile manufacturer, Audi, about a potential sponsorship deal, this according to Siya sources.
Sources have added that the association is currently in talks with several undisclosed companies about a sponsorship agreement, although Audi seems to be the standout name at this point.
SAFA already have agreements with the likes of South African Airways, SASOL and Tsogo Sun and are now looking to add one more renowned brand to their books.
Premier Soccer League outfits, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns have all recently signed sponsorship deals with Toyota, Ford and Hyundai respectively.
Now, the football association is looking to follow the same path of acquiring an automobile manufacturer as one of their sponsors and Siya sources have added that Head Coach Stuart Baxter was already spotted driving a sponsored Audi.
However, the association is yet to confirm whether an agreement has been reached between the two parties.
